Easter Sunday

“On the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala came to the tomb early in the morning, while it was still dark, and saw the stone removed from the tomb.” The Paschal candle represents the light of Christ coming into the world (Apr 12, 2020).

A message to parents:

How is your family celebrating Easter this year?

Yes, things are very different right now. The celebration this year, in some ways, is more like the first Easter. The disciples were alone. They were “socially distanced.” They did not exactly how or when or even if they would physically see Christ again. We know, now, Christ is always with us. We know that one day we will be able to receive Him in the Eucharist. We can be focused on Him still in this time. We can spend time with the Lord through personal and family prayer times.

Take care, be safe, and be holy.
